In my case, I have books where page one...Not sure.

In my case, I have books where page one is the first page of the first chapter or the introduction.

I will say this. If you send them the PDF completely paginated the way you want, that is how it will be printed.

Also, try calling the people at CreateSpace. They have a call me know feature and they will literally call you right then.

Go to a page that lists their author services, I would go to the layout and design page, use the call me know feature and ask.

My experience has been very positive in asking, and getting answers. If the person who took the call did not know the answer, he or she put me on hold and went and found out the answer or transferred me to someone who could answer my question.

Hope this helps.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18437542213632656366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4745462528690567203.post-72487576522247188402012-07-17T02:03:02.948-07:002012-07-17T02:03:02.948-07:00Hello,
I have a question about CreateSpace with Am...Hello,
I have a question about CreateSpace with Amazon in regards to pagination. While CreateSpace POD is great and print books look fine for the most part, there seems to be a problem that authors encounter that doesn't happen at the 'big six' and other bigger publishers.
CreateSpace doesn't seem to allow page 1 of a print book to begin on Chapter One. Do you know why this is? Is there any way for an author (I'm not an author - I'm a freelance book editor) to obtain this desired result using CreateSpace? It would be great information to have.
Thank you,
Lea-Ellen {night owl in IL}
borg_66@hotmail.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
